The metal structures we produce are made with LASER CONCEPT, the only German laser cusing device existing in Romania at this time. Laser cusing is a promising technology that can successfully replace the conventional technology of (casting) metal alloys. Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) represents an additional technique that allows the generation of a complex three-dimensional structure, by melting the CrCo powder, layer by layer, using thermal energy supplied by a laser beam focused by computer.

The sintering cycle takes about 12 hours. After the sintering cycle is complete, the metal is in its final hardness and shape, but the molecular structure shows stresses. In order to eliminate them, the metal requires heat treatment. The platform with the metal structures is inserted into the heat treatment furnace. It is heated up to 1150 °C, under protection of argon, being set to remain at this temperature for one hour, then it is allowed to cool slowly, and this entire cycle lasts 12 hours.

This is the only way we can obtain homogeneous, unoxidized metal skeletons, with stable molecular structure of a high quality. The metal frames are removed from the sintering plate after the heat treatment.

Trusting the German technology, we also acquired the 5-axis milling machine IMES IMES CORE, from the manufacturer of industrial and dental milling machines. The milling result is a product of high accuracy which is finished according to your requirements, in view of satisfying the patient.

For obtaining metal frames by laser cusing, we use exclusively Mediloy, a nonallergen chromium-cobalt powder without nickel, beryllium, gallium, etc. made by BEGO, Germany. The blocks of material used for milling are of ZrO2, PEAK, PEEK, PMMA, etc.

On the metal structures made in our laboratory, the following types of structures have been tested so far: Hera Ceram, Vita VM13, Ivoclair, GS, Creation, Duceram Kiss, Noritake.
